Brighton Middle School offers students opportunities through co-curricular activities such as Spelling Bee, Red Ribbon Week, National Junior Honor Society, and many others. Students and parents are encouraged to participate throughout the school year in many different school events.
BMS also provides students the opportunity to participate in several service projects each year. These include Make-A-Wish, March of Dimes, Tipton County Special Olympics, the Thanksgiving food drive for needy families, Christmas charity gifting, Operation Christmas Child, and Christmas cards for the overseas armed forces.
In addition, Brighton Middle School encourages student participation in various contests such as school-wide talent show, All-West Honor Choir competition, Solo/Ensemble Festival competition, All-State Honor Choir competition, and many others.
